Yancyy
has entertained thousands as the opening act for Jazz
talents like Peter White, Earl Klugh, Norman Brown and George
Howard.
With one independently produced and labeled project under his
belt, Yancyy has already set himself apart from the stock of really
talented musicians by bringing a level of entertainment to Jazz
that has never before been seen. The level of enthusiasm seen
by his following is the stuff that makes rock musicians legends.
This is no ordinary jazz performance-this is an artist that connects
with his audience to create memorable experiences.
Yancyy approaches the saxophone and stage as if they are old friends
out for a good hang. And don’t let the Jazz title fool you,
he has been known to rock audiences with arousing renditions of
rap titles like Will Smith’s “The Wild, Wild West”,
while helping audiences to relieve the stress of life through
rousing selections of gospel hits and “Eternal Love”,
a piece Yancyy wrote and produced with another Detroit Jazz newcomer,
Tim Bowman. Yes, Jazz has a new genre. Music has a new ambassador.
His name is Yancyy and he plays and entertains with a style and
purpose that will change Jazz forever.
